HARVEST OF SOULS AT OBASA
WNCC faculty and students engage in an open-air community outreach within our community monthly to assist congregations with evangelism. We do this to the end so that the congregations would have a wider outreach of their evangelistic activity and reach out to their prospects. Through this avenue, the members of the community are invited to study the gospel with us as we present them with the undiluted gospel of Christ.
The church of Christ, Obasa is a congregation that is an extension of the ministry of the College. The congregation has a faculty member from the College serving as its resident preacher. Weekly, the congregation and its members engage in an educational ministry wherein the students and pupils from the community are gathered together on the church premises and taught the Bible, general knowledge, and the sciences. Through this endeavor, the congregation serves the community and ministers in word to the members of the community. The open-air outreach which was held by the College was aimed at assisting the congregation reach out to the members within her community with a farther reach. The outreach was well attended by the congregants of Obasa, staff, and faculty of the college, and members of the community of Obasa. A harvest of one soul was recorded. The soul has been committed to the local congregation to assist him be a disciple that bears fruit.
We thank God for the ministry of evangelism that the College engages in at the congregational level. We pray for the harvest of souls that they bear fruit and their fruit remains until the coming of our Lord.
