Communication Arts Club

The motto of the Communication Arts Club (CAC) is to bring the unseen into scene. The Communication Arts Club of WNCC basically serves as the mouthpiece of the college in terms of information dissemination through various means of communication.

As the name of the club implies, we bring into play applicable stories mainly from the scriptures as well as from imagination through dramatization and creative writing. We reach out to the student community through news items, articles, riddles and jokes and cartoons with the sole purpose of informing, edifying, educating and entertaining.

The CAC teaches important spiritual lessons through dramas, applying it to the contemporary society. Poetry in form of Ewi recitation, mock news, etc are not left behind in the clubs’ agenda. CAC contextualizes the message of Christ in the common language that people will understand.

The club helps other clubs on campus to dramatize intended message through drama and acting. We keep the students informed about what goes on on WNCC campus by displaying on our notice board highlights of important events on campus.

Preachers’ Club

The vision of the Preachers’ Club is to be the guiding light of professionalism in gospel preaching in our generation and to lay a good premise for generations to come. As God’s work men created unto every good work, we help our members to be always prepared to give answers to anyone that asks the reason of our faith in Christ.

Our objectives include:

• Training preachers to overcome stage fright.
• Prepare men ready to face the challenges of preaching.
• Acquaint members with modern trends in preaching.
• Keep members abreast of rules governing preaching and also to inject into members qualities of good servant hood.
• Assist members to work towards perfection in preaching.
• Inculcate the spirit of first doing before teaching into members and to let members see the need to retain their saltiness and radiate the light of Christ around them.
• Organise seminars and symposia to address contemporary issues and keep members abreast of current developments in preaching.
• Acquaint members with current tools for preaching and also avail them with preaching sites on the Internet.
